Santa Monica's Own Barnana

Once you start looking, you may be surprised at how many increasingly well-known companies have their origins in our backyard of Los Angeles! Barnana is an example of a now widely visible product that's headquartered in Santa Monica itself. 

Barnana's delicious and potassium-packed snacks are made from bananas grown in South America. This is where its founder and CEO was born, and where the first inspiration for his creation occured! Crafted here in the U.S.A., Barnana products are nongmo, gluten free, dairy free, kosher, and many of them are vegan.

Barnana is on a mission:
"...to end food waste on organic banana farms by upcycling the bananas that used to go to waste. When 'imperfect' bananas have scuffs, are a little too ripe, or aren’t the perfect size - they are typically rejected for export. We take these delicious bananas and turn them into snacks."
