Does being an Owner of a cooperative business, like Co+opportunity, influence you to spend more at your co-op?

  • " I go where I can best get what I prefer, but I believe in the principle of the co-operative."
  • "I do not spend more because I have a financial investment, rather I shop at the coop because I like the organic and bulk sections and don’t want to give my money to big chains."
  • "Perhaps. But I mainly shop at "my" co-op because it has the organic products I want to use (such as food - fresh veges, fruits, meets, etc), and vitamins. Additionally, it is close to where I live. And, I really enjoy the staff. "
